TMJ Specialist
Dr. Brian Murphy recognized that at least one or more TMJ symptoms affects around 50-75% of the population. He collaborates with various dentist offices in the community who also see patients with TMJ symptoms. In the past, TMJ has primarily been treated by dentists with an appliance that prevents the patient from grinding or clenching their teeth. Dr. Murphy is super passionate about helping these patients because they sometimes have pain when speaking, chewing, and swallowing, among other daily functions; this negatively affects their quality of life!
Dr. Murphy has been trained in the evaluation and treatment of TMJ and the adjacent areas associated with TMJ Disorder including the cervical spine, as well as pain from headaches and/or poor posture, stiffness in the neck and upper back, and muscle weakness. He looks forward to continuing to provide physical therapy services in the Little Rock area to these patients.
