Blood Flow Restriction

Applying Pressure

For Muscle Repair
& Growth

Many individuals wish to improve muscle strength but can’t tolerate heavy weights or high-intensity exercise due to injury, surgery, or other medical conditions. But with blood flow restriction techniques, muscle repair and growth are possible. Contact us to learn about how this approach could benefit you!

What is Blood Flow Restriction?

Blood flow restriction (BFR) is a technique that involves partially restricting blood flow to the working muscle during exercise, typically using a band or cuff. By limiting blood flow, BFR creates a hypoxic (low oxygen) environment in the muscle, stimulating muscle growth and improving strength. BFR training typically involves doing multiple low-resistance exercises with the cuff or band applied to the limb. It offers several benefits.

  • Improved Muscle Growth & Strength

  • Reduced Muscle Loss

  • Accelerated Recovery Time

  • Time-Efficient Option

Is BFR Right for Me?

Blood flow restriction does not treat a specific medical condition. Instead, it’s a training technique that supplements traditional strength training to enhance muscle growth, strength, and endurance. BFR training is sometimes used in rehabilitation to help individuals recover from injuries or surgeries. Athletes and fitness enthusiasts also use it to improve overall physical performance and achieve their fitness goals.
